SUBJECT: Pink Fluffy Bunny Sales Letters

Gruff, hard looking construction guys
A battered building ready for demolition
A giant wrecking ball made of a pink bunny
rabbit?

I was watching a really interesting commercial for
H&R Block the other day that showed this exact
scenario happening.

Their point was that you needed to always pick the
right tool for the job.

For example, we do a lot of talk about sales
letters, but sales letters arent the only form of
copy.

And theyre not always the most effective form,
either. If you discovered copywriting online, you
might think that the long format sales letter is
everything.

Youd be wrong.

Think about copy for mailers, brochures, shopping
carts, or white papers.

Even online, there are a lot of options. It
depends on the product and the market.

These are all good options if youre looking to
specialize. Theyre also good places to research
if youre looking to become better-rounded.

Dont blindly jump to one particular form for your
copy before youve done your research.

Once youve done that, youll find that youve got
a LOT of different options you can pursue.
